Modern terrain parks include a lot of architecture that very few companies have built. While there are dozens of qualified builders who understand terrain park plans and specifications and have years of construction experience there are still many problems and questions that can arise which only a qualified terrain park designer / builder can address. ROG & Co. is able to take our understanding of design and construction and convey our thoughts and ideas to clients, contractors and all the associated trades to help insure correct interpretation of construction documents and design intent. Our range of expertise involves extensive knowledge in multiple disciplines of riding, construction, architecture and engineering which aids in our confidence and ability to assist with all aspects of building terrain parks.
Our role in the development of each project can vary. Typically we consult with general contractors by making a series of site visits conducted during key phases of construction. We help ensure that the terrain park is built in conformance with plan specifications, provide additional quality control and share our expertise and knowledge of methods and techniques specific to terrain park construction. With the potential for many terrain features throughout the park to be interpreted incorrectly, it is essential to have an expert on site to translate the design intent throughout the project. Our approach allows us to tailor the scope of work to each specific project but generally includes the following:
- Aid the client in determining if the work isİproceeding in accordance with the construction documents, schedules and budget.
- Provide observation, recommendations and consultation for the client/ city to optimize implementation of the design within the construction documents.
- Assist with construction means, methods, techniques and sequences for procedures in connection with work.
- Insure the design intent is understood and there are no questions or concerns about the design or its construction.
- Provide progress reports following each site visit to the client/ city indicating the progress of the project, quality of construction methods, specific problem areas and the state of completion.
- Make recommendations in matters relating to change order functional, aesthetic and technical effect.
- Make recommendations to the client/ city to reject work not conforming to contract documents and require special inspection or testing when necessary.

Project & Construction Management
Construction management, observation and administration are essential to the success of our projects. To insure that your terrain park is constructed with
premium craftsmanship, in conformance with plan specifications and design intent, our construction management team oversees each project from start to finish.
We monitor every detail during all phases of construction to ensure a flawless final product. Our experienced staff fully understands terrain park design,
construction and how terrain parks are used. We are efficient and consistent in making sure each project is completed successfully.
Terrain park design involves the creation of unique features that have never been constructed before, so there will always be questions that arise during construction. ROG & Co. stays in close contact with our clients and the terrain park designer throughout the construction process to address problems with the design or site, modify construction details or design elements and streamline the project to reduce costs.
Our field superintendents are in constant contact with our construction managers and use the information we gather from site inspections to provide support to municipalities, contractors, sub-consultants and construction crews in need of assistance. Or management team inspects the terrain park construction and is available at all times to answer questions, provide technical support, assist with ASI's (architectural supplemental instructions), RFI's (requests for information) and change orders. We help guarantee that the terrain park is built with the utmost quality using the best methodology and techniques.

Dirt Sculpting / Finishing
A terrain park is more than just some piles of dirt strategically placed and intermixed with grinds, ledges and other man-made features. Each element in your
terrain park is the product of detailed planning and precision craftsmanship. After the soil rough grade is achieved within the park footprint the next step is
to begin sculpting and finishing the dirt elements of the facility. Soil sculpting and finishing is a critical step in creating a smooth, flowing facility that
incorporates safety and inspires consistent use. Without specific sculpting and finishing experience and a riders eye for transition this phase is overlooked
by many contractors and can render a facility useless or severely under utilized.
Preservation / Maintenance / Rennovation, Operations Management
A terrain park is like all facilities and will require maintenance. With proper construction and attention to detail during the build, overall long-term
maintenance is reduced. At ROG & CO. we know that a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous facility support is the key to success. With the

Wood & Steel Feature Fabrication / Installation
ROG & Co. offers wood and metal fabrication and installation services. We provide in house artistic and structural wood and metal fabrication.
Our highly skilled and experienced welders, metal and wood workers install all fabrications including coping, ladders, ledges and other requirements
for our jobs. All craftsmanship helps ensure safety, durability and functionality, meets design specifications and is delivered or built on-site for installation.
